Westlake Youth Athletic Organization is please to invite you and your squads to compete in our 1st annual Cheer for the Cure Cheerleading Competition. We believe in the fight to help cure cancer and a portion of each team’s registration fee will be donated to St. Jude and Susan G. Komen. This will be an exciting day of competition with squads from all around our local area. We would love for your teams to compete and be a part of our competition. The competition will be held Sunday, October 9, 2016 at North Point High School. Registration will only be confirmed with payment.
Westlake Youth Athletic Organization may combine similar divisions for competition, depending on the number of teams registered. We will use the 20% rule when combining teams. Teams will be notified in advance of any changes in the division breakdown. The maximum number per squad is (36). The maximum time limit for the complete routine is two minutes and thirty seconds. Teams may create routines to all music or any combination of cheer and music. This competition will follow the safety and cheer levels for Rec and All-Star recognized by USASF.
Jump & Tumble Contest
Competitors must register in advance when team packets are submitted and must check-in at the registration table for either Jump or Tumble at $10 each or $15 for both. Each jumper must perform two Jumps. Tumblers must perform one tumble pass. Divisions are based off the age of the participant the day of the event.
